Testing Methodology
This page defines how VapeRisk Labs will document product tests. It will be expanded as each testing track is finalized.
Sample handling
- Record product name, model, flavor or variant, nicotine label, batch or lot code when available, purchase channel, purchase date, and test date.
- Photograph packaging, labels, warnings, seals, and any visible compliance markings.
- Separate hands-on observations from instrument-based findings.
Report structure
- Executive summary.
- Sample identity and chain-of-custody notes.
- Test questions and methods.
- Observed results and limitations.
- Risk interpretation for consumers, retailers, and industry readers.
- Correction log if new information changes a conclusion.
Limitations
A single sample does not represent every unit in a production run. VapeRisk reports should explain what was tested, what was not tested, and how much confidence readers should place in the result.
